Clinical Performance System
VeloArchitect fuses Whoop biometric data with your FTP baseline to generate interval sessions that match your physiology — not a generic plan.
Definition
Veloarchitect is a performance operating system for serious cyclists. It fuses Whoop HRV data, the athlete's FTP baseline, and .fit execution history into recovery-aware interval sessions, post-ride execution audits, and a Failure Horizon forecast that predicts systemic overtraining before it occurs. Sessions export as .zwo, .erg, or .fit for any ERG-compatible trainer.

System Protocol
Three steps. Zero ambiguity.
01
Connect
Sync Your Biology
Authorize Whoop. The Architect ingests your HRV, recovery score, sleep performance, and daily strain in real time.
02
Analyze
Architect Calculates
Your biometrics are cross-referenced against your FTP baseline and fatigue load. No templates. No guesswork.
03
Execute
Workout session
A precision interval session is generated and exported as .zwo or .erg — ready to load into Zwift or any ERG trainer.

Capabilities
Every feature exists to reduce biological guesswork.
Recovery Intelligence
HRV-Driven Load Targeting
Every watt target is calibrated against your morning HRV. Suppressed recovery means reduced intensity — automatically, without your input.
Adaptivity
Zero Static Zones
Power zones are recomputed each session from your current FTP and live Whoop strain score. Yesterday's 88% is not today's 88%.
Failure Horizon
100-Day Systemic Projection
The Architect models your biological debt across a rolling window and projects the earliest date of systemic failure — so you act before it happens.
Post-Workout Analysis
Execution Scoring
Upload your .fit file after training. Efficiency Factor, Normalized Power, cardiac drift, and TSS are audited against The Architect's original prescription.
Workout Export
Zwift & ERG Ready
Sessions export as .zwo or .erg and are immediately loadable in Zwift, TrainerRoad, or any ANT+ FE-C compatible trainer.
Scheduling Engine
Intelligent Deployment
The Architect schedules sessions around your recovery windows and race targets — filling only the slots your physiology can support.
System Identity
The Architect does not motivate. It does not encourage. It reads your biometrics, references your physiology, and outputs the optimal training stimulus for today — nothing more.
Clinical. Objective. Relentless. Designed for athletes who want data, not cheerleading.
“Your HRV is suppressed. Recovery at 43%. Today's session is reduced to Z2 aerobic maintenance. Ignore this and you trade adaptation for regression.”

Target Athlete
VeloArchitect is a precision tool. It requires Whoop, a measurable FTP, and the discipline to follow the data.
Optimal Candidate
Trains with a structured plan and measurable FTP
Owns a Whoop and tracks recovery seriously
Races crits, gran fondos, sportives, or masters events
Wants interval precision, not generic zone guidance
Loads workouts into Zwift or ERG trainers regularly
Poor Fit
No wearable — no biometric baseline to read from
No FTP test or measurable power output
Prefers feel-based, intuitive training
Looking for motivation, accountability, or coaching
Casual recreational cyclist with no performance target

What is Veloarchitect?
Veloarchitect is a performance operating system for serious cyclists. It fuses Whoop HRV data, the athlete's FTP baseline, and .fit execution history into recovery-aware interval sessions, post-ride execution audits, and a Failure Horizon projection — the earliest date of systemic overtraining given current mechanical-work load.
How does Veloarchitect work?
Three steps. Step 01 — Connect: authorize Whoop via OAuth so the Architect can ingest HRV, recovery score, sleep performance, and daily strain. Step 02 — Analyze: biometrics are cross-referenced against the athlete's FTP baseline and fatigue load. Step 03 — Execute: a recovery-aware interval session is generated and exported as .zwo, .erg, or .fit — loadable into Zwift, TrainerRoad, or any ANT+ FE-C or Bluetooth FTMS trainer.
What is the Failure Horizon?
The Failure Horizon is the Architect's projection of the earliest date systemic failure will occur given current mechanical-work load. It reads Whoop recovery, recent training stress, and the athlete's 100-day True Normal baseline to forecast when cumulative load exceeds what the biology can absorb. When the horizon collapses, upcoming workouts are rewritten to prevent it. Failure Horizon is Protocol 6 in the numbered taxonomy.
Who is Veloarchitect built for?
Athletes who already own a Whoop (or comparable HRV-tracked wearable) and a power meter, train with a structured plan and measurable FTP, race or time-trial regularly, and want interval precision rather than generic zone guidance. Veloarchitect is not built for casual recreational cyclists, athletes without a Whoop biometric source, or anyone who prefers feel-based, non-prescriptive training.
How does Veloarchitect integrate with Whoop?
Veloarchitect connects to Whoop via OAuth at signup. Once authorized, the Architect ingests HRV, recovery score, sleep performance, and daily strain in real time. These biometric inputs gate the Adaptive Workout prescription (Protocol 10) and the Failure Horizon projection (Protocol 6) — Whoop is the required biometric source, not an optional add-on. Compatible Whoop generations: 4.0, 5.0, MG.
